We are now a registered Industrial and Provident Society (IPS). We had been waiting to receive confirmation and a registration number from the FSA (Financial Services Authority), and now it has come through. This means we are be able to go ahead and sell shares to achieve our aims of co-ownership of the centre.
Our next job is to prepare a Prospectus with proposals, plans, figures etc. giving all the information one needs to make a decision to buy shares. As a preview, shares will start at £100 (well that’s £1 each share but you must buy 100 or more). The Prospectus will be ready in about a month, and the share launch date will be announced soon. We are hopeful that the necessary amount can be raised and Hurrah, a big celebration will be on the cards.
Big Mind
On Saturday 17th September a small group of people who came to Fellside were skilfully led into a personal exploration of “Who Am I?” from a Zen Buddhist perspective – an interesting and enlightening day. Big thanks for Dave Scott for giving his time in leading the group and to all those who came and supported FOFC. Read more on our events page

The Macaroon Ceilidh Band
The next event when you can support us is a
Ceilidh with
The Macaroon Ceilidh Band and guests on
Friday 14th October. Please pass on the information to anyone who you think might like to come, and please come yourself. It promises to be a warm and energetic evening, so a good way to bring roses to the cheeks and prepare for the colder weather.
